Principle of Underground Utility Detection Equipment
The receiver can receive the signal, which is emitted from the generator or electricity cable. Then the precise location and direction of pipes/cable can easily be determined.

Routing of utilities was detected and then reported for customer's submission or reference.

Ground Probing Radar Scanning

Ground Probing Radar Scanning (GPRS) provides a safe and non-invasive method of conducting speculative searches without the need for unnecessary disruption and excavation. The system has proved to be essential in determining the optimum line for directional drilling (trenchless) operations and in ensuring the quality of re-instatement work.

Principle of Ground Probing Radar Scanning
Radar surveys work by launching pulses of energy into the soil or ground. These pulses are reflected by any subsurface objects that may present. It detects non-metallic utilities such as PVC Water and Gas pipes, Asbestospipework and Fibre-optic cables. These utilities are not normally detectable by using other survey methods.
